Michael was known for his beautiful loving smile, genuine sense of humor, and endearing compassion. Michael so loved everyone and everyone loved him.
He was deemed the unofficial Mayor of Northport High School and forged strong bonds with whomever he met. Serving as a friend to confide in, a comedian, prankster, gentleman, teammate, leader, and quite possibly the all-time greatest host of social gatherings to grace the Crab Meadow neighborhood.
On Saturday, May 22, 2021, the morning of his wedding, Michael's life ended tragically due to sudden cardiac arrest due to cardiomyopathy.
Michael is survived by his loving fiancé, Elizabeth Barrett, his adoring parents Richard and Jama Russano, his dear brothers Richard Todd, Peter, and Christopher, and his cherished nieces and nephews Helena, Ariana, Alexander, Daniel, and Dominick, along with extended family members and his countless treasured friends.
